From Abandoned to Adored: Angel’s Unstoppable Journey of Survival and Hope
Meet Angel, a truly inspiring dog with a remarkable story of survival and resilience. Angel’s journey began tragically when she was cruelly abandoned in a forest, her mouth taped shut, her legs broken, and left to perish.
Yet, fate intervened when caring individuals discovered her dire condition, removed the tape, and gave her a much-needed bath. Although she was still in immense pain, they knew she needed urgent help and reached out to us.
We wasted no time rushing Angel to the hospital, where veterinarians uncovered the full extent of her suffering. Angel had been shot six times, with one of the bullets lodged in her spine, resulting in paralysis.
Despite the cruelty she endured at the hands of a heartless human, two days later, Angel underwent successful surgery to remove the bullet from her spine.
As Angel woke up from the operation, there was a heartwarming moment where she seemed to express gratitude for being given a second chance. Her spirit shone through as she showcased her joyful nature, proving to be one of the happiest dogs you could ever meet.
Just four days after her surgery, Angel continued to recover remarkably well. Although she still battled a slight fever, her progress exceeded all expectations.
Despite the odds, Angel was learning to move around using a special cart and was full of good spirits.
Reflecting on her journey, it’s hard to believe how far Angel has come from the grim situation she faced just two weeks ago.
Her incredible transformation touched the hearts of many, and she became affectionately known as Angel, thanks to a call from the rescue center. We couldn’t agree more with the name.
Today marks a significant milestone in Angel’s life as she has been adopted by a compassionate woman. Angel’s loving nature raises the poignant question of why anyone would want to harm such a sweet animal.
For a dog once expected to remain paralyzed, we eagerly anticipate the day when Angel can run freely like any other dog, leaving her past trauma behind.
