A double board certified neurologist thinks Joe Biden could be facing vascular Dementia
A prominent neurologist, double board certified, has addressed various media reports suggesting that US President Joe Biden might be suffering from Parkinson’s disease. However, he brought up the possibility that the President could be dealing with “vascular dementia.” He emphasized the importance of Biden undergoing neurological testing and an MRI to either confirm or dismiss vascular dementia concerns.
This expert pointed out that the President’s medical history might have played a role in developing this condition. After evaluating Biden alongside the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, he dismissed this as a likely diagnosis. Dr. Russell Surasky offered his professional insights, and during an interview, he shared his thoughts on the President’s health, noting the wave of reports raising alarm over Biden’s “cognitive decline.”
Dr. Russell showed empathy towards the President and critiqued his staff for seemingly covering up an evident health issue, indicating that it may not be Parkinson’s. According to him, the President’s personal doctor ruled out Parkinson’s disease following a thorough medical assessment conducted in February. Presently, there are no clear indications of Parkinson’s in Biden’s behavior. Dr. Russell referenced observing videos where Biden walks with a steady gait, rather than the shuffling manner typical in Parkinson’s. Additionally, Biden doesn’t exhibit the unilateral resting tremor or the distinctive cogwheel rigidity associated with the condition.
